Help! Xpert Search is simple to use. First, you apply for membership at the main page under Apply for membership. Then, all you have to do is wait for us to process your application, after which you will receive an e-mail confirmation. If you’re a freelance journalist, please indicate in your application for which media you mainly work. Having received our confirmation, you’re ready to log in to Xpert Search using your e-mail address and password. After login, you’ll be given further instructions as to how to look for suitable researchers. The service is open weekdays, 9 am–4 pm. During this time your questions will be channelled to information specialists at universities and research institutes, who’ll provide you with answers. Journalists may pose questions at any time. In case you have forgotten your password, write to us at etsi.xpertti@aka.fi and give us your user name to get your password. A journalist may only submit one application for membership.
